The Digital for Future Education (DIFEDUC) association was founded by two young Cameroonians immersed in the field of education and humanitarian work. Inspired and motivated by a world where technology has become the driving force of social and economic transformation, the DIFEDUC association wishes to guarantee all individuals, particularly vulnerable sections of society, access to basic digital skills. This is not only a question of justice and equity, but also a sine qua non condition for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Indeed, human rights and digital skills are two inseparable pillars of an inclusive and prosperous society. By basic digital skills, we understand online navigation, searching for information, mastering office tools and understanding digital risks and opportunities, which are essential for fully participating in economic and social life. For vulnerable sections of society, access to digital skills represents much more than just the ability to use a computer or smartphone. It is the key that opens the doors to education, employment, healthcare and citizen participation. It is a way to strengthen their autonomy and dignity, allowing them to make informed decisions and defend their rights. Moreover, the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) provide an essential framework that guides our actions. The digital inclusion of vulnerable groups directly contributes to several of these goals, including access to quality education (SDG 4), gender equality (SDG 5), decent work and economic growth (SDG 8) and reduced inequalities (SDG 10). In order to achieve this vision, it is imperative to invest in accessible digital education programs, adapted to the specific needs of vulnerable groups and areas. In order to make a lasting contribution while carrying these aspirations, it seemed appropriate to us to encourage its use through training and limit the connectivity barrier through the use of a box for digital education without internet EDBOX (server intended to make educational digital content available where there is no internet). This is in order to continue to root the knowledge and skills of the digital-related professions of the future in rural, peri-rural and urban areas. The fundamental objective of this approach is to promote human rights, including digital inclusion, by providing learning opportunities to a wide range of people who might otherwise be excluded from this essential knowledge.
